Postal Charges

Sorry but the new postal rates have forced us to make some adjustments, but it still means that we usually pay more than we charge.

Shady Lane models of Bideford try and make things affordable,

so to that end Postal charges are as follows:-
The relevant charge is displayed in the shopping basket

UK postage up to a maximum of £6.95 (price banded)

EUROPE (airmail) postage up to a maximum of £35.00 (weight banded)

WORLDWIDE (airmail) postage up to a maximum of £55.00 (weight banded)

All of the UK orders are sent by Royal Mail™ recorded delivery, or standard parcels for bulky orders. All parcels have to be signed for upon delivery. All orders received by 3.30pm either on-line or by phone on weekdays are dispatched the same day, all others are dispatched the next working weekday.

All International orders dependant on weight are sent either by Royal Mail™ or Parcelforce Worldwide™.

You need to choose your country first and then either Europe or Worldwide if outside of the UK to calculate the correct postage cost.

Please note. If the wrong postage costs are chosen then we will hold the delivery and contact you so that we can rectify the situation.

Special delivery is not available as an

option on-line

All items are offered for sale dependant on the item being in stock in our shop. We do our best to keep the stock held indicator up to date at all times. If you are concerned then please e-mail prior to setting an order, we can then confirm availability and hold an item for 24hrs at no charge so that you can place your order with confidence.
